The best cafés in Delhi NCR you haven't tried yet

Delhi has no shortage of coffee shops. What it has a shortage of is places that actually take coffee seriously — where the beans are sourced with intent, the barista knows what they're doing, and the space doesn't feel like it was designed for Instagram first and people second.

These ten are on Hubb. All of them are worth the trip.

Libertario, GK2

Colombia arrived in Delhi in July 2025, and it landed in Greater Kailash 2. Libertario Coffee is a celebrated Colombian brand, and its Indian debut brings signature blends like Paz (caramel-chocolate), Libre (fruit-forward), and Rock/Specials featuring exotic varietals like Geisha and Bourbon Sidra. The space was designed to feel both global and local — Colombian coffee heritage with a menu built for the Indian palate. If you care about where your coffee comes from, this is the most interesting new opening in South Delhi.

Best for: serious coffee, a slow afternoon, impressing someone who knows their single origins.

FES Café, GK2

FES is India's first 100% eggless dessert café chain, built around New York-style chunky cookies, rotating dessert drops, and community-driven formats. It raised $1M last year, and the buzz is earned. The cookies are genuinely exceptional. The space functions as a neighbourhood hangout in a way most Delhi cafés don't manage — loud, fun, and full of people who came back for the third time that week.

Best for: desserts, groups, post-dinner when you want something sweet and social.

First Coffee, multiple locations across NCR

First Coffee was co-founded by Sohrab Sitaram of Keventers fame, with beans sourced from Harley Estate in Chikmagalur — a specialty single-origin programme across 18 spots in NCR. The tagline is "First Coffee / Then Everything Else" and the coffee lives up to it. Clean, precise, consistent. Now at 18 locations across NCR and growing.

Best for: your daily cup, when you're done compromising on what's in the mug.

United Coffee House, Connaught Place

The United Coffee House story goes back to the late 1930s, when Lala Hansraj Kalra established what became Delhi's first café — a cultural landmark that united writers, artists, lawyers, journalists, politicians and businessmen under one roof. Since 1942, the tables at UCH have hosted the who's who of Delhi. The Cona coffee is legendary. The Chicken à la Kiev has been on the menu for decades. Some places earn their reputation. This is one of them.

Best for: history, a long lunch, anyone visiting Delhi who wants to understand the city.

Perch Coffee, Vasant Vihar

Known across South Delhi for its range of specialty coffees — single origins, unique blends, multiple brewing methods. The baristas here know what they're doing. The Vietnamese iced coffee has its own following. Pair it with the banana bread and you'll stop looking at the time.

Best for: a reliable specialty cup, work-from-café mornings, anyone who finds Starbucks offensive.

BBR Coffee (Before British Raj), Siri Fort Road

BBR Coffee is located away from the madness of the city on Siri Fort Road, with indoor and outdoor seating, scenic surroundings, and in-house coffee and tea blends. The flat white is one of the best in Delhi. The Coffee Ginger Fizz cold brew is the kind of thing you think sounds odd and then order every time you come back. The Ham and Cheese Sandwich on sourdough is deceptively simple and exactly right.

Best for: a date, a slow weekend, escaping the city without leaving it.

Altry Coffee Roastery, DLF Phase 4, Gurgaon

A roastery-café in Gurgaon that takes its coffee programme as seriously as any in the city. Altry is where Gurgaon's coffee crowd goes when they want something beyond the chain options — precise espresso, thoughtful sourcing, and a space that doesn't feel corporate even though it's in DLF Phase 4.

Best for: Gurgaon regulars, anyone who wants to understand what a roastery café actually means.

Di Ghent, Gurgaon

Di Ghent is renowned for its European-style breakfasts and artisanal coffee, attracting enthusiasts from both Delhi and Gurgaon. The trattoria feel is consistent — Ristrettos, Macchiatos, Affogato, iced café latte. The kind of place that makes Gurgaon feel like it has a neighbourhood worth belonging to.

Best for: brunch, something European, weekends when you want to linger.

Espresso Anyday, DLF Phase 4, Gurgaon

Launched in November 2024 and led by Chef Tarannum Sehgal, Espresso Anyday offers handcrafted dishes alongside expertly crafted coffee — fresh pasta, premium brews, and a menu that takes food as seriously as the espresso. One of the most interesting new café openings in Gurgaon. A proper all-day spot that earns repeat visits.

Best for: all-day breakfast, a proper meal with your coffee, Gurgaon's best new opening.

Beanly, Hauz Khas and Golf Course Road

Beanly's oat milk latte has a reputation as one of the best value specialty lattes in NCR, with a signature Vietnamese coffee and a menu that takes snacking as seriously as the coffee. The slow-steeped cold brew, the hazelnut chocolate drinks, the 16-hour process — this is a brand that was built by people who actually care about what goes in the cup. Two locations, consistently good.

Best for: cold brew, the oat milk crowd, anyone who wants great coffee without the ceremony.
